Our Story
In July 1985, Sam Terry bought Sparkling Clean Window Company and began cleaning high rise windows by himself with a dream of growing a much bigger business.
As he grew the company, hired and trained more technicians, they began offering more services to maintain and restore the facades of commercial properties.
We changed our name to Surface Solutions so our clients would better understand how we can serve them.
Today, we are recognized as the preferred exterior building maintenance contractor in Central Texas because of the unparalleled customer experience we deliver and our technical expertise.
We exist to make a positive difference in the lives of our team and the property management professionals we work with.

AC/DC said it well in their song, “It’s a Long Way to the Top, if you want to Rock and Roll”! We take the hiring process seriously here and we hope you do to. We are looking for long-term hires and we take our time to make sure our applicants are a great fit for us, and we expect our applicants to take their time to determine if we are a great fit for them. Several of our Team Members have been here for over 10 years and we hope you are looking for that kind of fit. Consider the following steps that will take place before a job offer is made:
- Complete our online questionnaire.
- Take the AcuMax assessment.
- Have a phone interview.
- Complete our Job Application.
- Have a face-to-face interview at our office.
- Conduct your own review of our business and our competition.
- References will be checked.
- We will conduct a criminal background check.
- 2nd face-to-face interview, including a job site visit and meeting with some of our Team Members.
